Project Update: The campaign is almost over !
Hello,
Man, it's been a ride for us. Taking this from an idea to a real Backerkit campaign has always been a dream.
Did we learn some things...... YES.
Are we excited and feeling the love this community has given our small game publishing company? Most Certainly.
We might not make the last stretch goal but that's alright. We have gone further than ever expected.
THANK YOU!
Project Update: Guild Builder
Today we are going to talk about the guild-building system included in this book.
We wanted a system players could use to help create a functional guild should they find an appropriate place to start one. As they progress in level and power the guild can too. Taking the Judge's world and using a point buy system you can turn a narrative into a guild the players can have fun building and running. The Judge can also use it to create a new guild from scratch and drag and drop it into their world in a few minutes. It was designed to be easy to use but comprehensive enough to create what you need.
- You can hire spies.
- Fund armorers for guild wars.
- Hire a wizard.
- Fund a law scholar to help get you out of trouble.
- Buy different types of buildings.
- Gather resources over time from a settlement.
- Buy magic items for the guild.
- And much much more.
We are sure you will like this awesome addition to your campaign.
Project Update: Life of a Thief
Understanding how to think like a thief is as important as their mechanics. Sections of the book deep dive into the life of a thief and how to play one. Other sections are focused on types of thieves and some tricks they can use to outsmart a mark. The wizard may be the smartest player on paper but street smarts trumps book smarts any day or night. This is how you should think about your character.
Sure they can evolve and they should, good stories and characters do. Setting the tone of your unique crime figure is like casting a good villain or antihero in a movie. Using these tools you will have some ammunition to be creative in your journey.

Here are some stats!
- We needed $2,000 we have 114 backers pledging $5,635 to make this project happen as of this update.
- ~50% of all backers opted in for the Pickpocket Deck for only $20. It's proven to be a useful tool at our tables. The MSRP for this will go up to $25 post campaign.
- We added a canvas art addon for only $25 with larger image to help you make a decision. Its inspired by one of the most iconic images about thieves in AD&D.
- Grab an extra copy of the book at $26 the MSRP will go up to $32 post campaign and not include the backer exclusive numbering scheme.
Are you an international follower ? Don't forget to vote in our latest poll.
If we reach $8,000 we can create a special adventure featuring Dirt the most dastardly scoundrel to ever pull off a con.
Also help us spread the word family. Know someone who loves DCC or RPG's in general tell them about us!
BUT NONE OF THIS CAN BE DONE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT!

Today we feature Sean Martin the artist who created the book cover among other things.
Ok here's my thing! I do realize it may seem I'm not taking this
interview very seriously but, what is art if it isn't b@tsh*t.
We loved his answer and his comic book style of art. We have had the pleasure of working on multiple projects with him in the past, and his art is featured proudly in this book.
