Welcome to Mimics Among Us! This campaign will feature a multitude of mimics! Anything and EVERYTHING could be disguised as one. Therefore, be cautious of where you walk or rest, and be wary of the treasures you accumulate along your journey. They may be cute, but beware their tooth and claw, these tiny fiends will choose you upon which to gnaw. But if you're okay with being a snack, then embrace the mimic attack and take some pocket mimics home today!

My previous campaign was one of the first to be hosted on Backerkit's new crowdfunding platform. It was an easy sell when I spoke to their amazing team at GenCon 2023. I couldn't have been happier when my supplement, Unnatural Selection, skyrocketed past any expectations going into launch day. We funded in 5 minutes and made over 2000% more than we ever intended. This success sparked inspiration, and ignited a flickering flame that has since turned into a roaring fire--our dreams had been made real.
What is Unnatural Selection? It is a supplement made for use with the new and extremely successful Shadowdark RPG. It was easy for us to fall in love with the setting, the rules, the art and the writing style. It was even easier to pick up and dive into with friends, veteran gamers and newcomers to the genre. It was the PERFECT setting for our book.

Backerkit works much like Kickstarter where it is an all-or-nothing crowd funding. This means you won't be charged for your pledge until the campaign ends. So you can pledge now and pay later, and have the freedom to change your mind by switching pledge levels, adding more add-ons and even cancelling your pledge prior to the end of the campaign.
Surveys: Once the campaign ends you will be sent a survey within several weeks. In the survey, you will be asked to choose your designs, pay shipping fees, and add your shipping address. This survey is designed to help the campaign creators to fulfill your order and ensure that you receive the items you pledged for. Add-ons added in the survey, will be charged upon survey completion.Â
Shipping will be charged separately - AFTER THE CAMPAIGN. You will receive a survey from Backerkit approximately 3-6 weeks after the campaign, where you will select your pin designs, and have a second opportunity to pick up more pins and add other add-ons to your order.
Shipping will be assessed and charged approximately 18 weeks after the campaign ends, once the pins have arrived and been sorted, and shipping rates have been assessed.Â

International Shipping: $12 - $40
International backers are responsible for any VAT or other fees Note that these are estimates, and may raise or lower depending on country, time of year and many other factors. I will do my very best to be as accurate as possible so that there are not surprises.
Address Updates: Please be sure that the address you provide is correct and up to date. You will be responsible for any re-shipping fees if they are required and will be notified in an update prior to locking in addresses. This will ensure you have time to make any changes up until the lock date. If your package is returned to me due to insufficient funds, I will reach out personally to fix any issues. If I do not hear back from the backer within 48 hours, the order will be forfeited without a refund. If I do hear back, you will be responsible for any re-shipping fees that may be required.Â
International Backers: The Backer is responsible for any VAT or Custom fees associated with their purchase. If the package is returned to me due to insufficient funds, I will reach out personally to fix any issues. Early Bird Pledge Levels Early Bird pledge levels are only available for the first 48 hours of the campaign! Early bird backers will receive one free extra pin with their pledge level. The free pin can be selected from any of the unlocked designs.
Backer Responsibility As a backer you are responsible for completing your survey and paying shipping fees within a timely manner, to receive your rewards. As creators we are only able to communicate with backers through project updates and reminder emails (email correspondence will be sent to the email on file for your pledge). As a backer it is your responsibility to check and read project updates, and to check for survey emails. If you fail to stay updated and do not complete your survey, you could forfeit your rewards. Manufacturing
I will be upfront with backers during the process and disclose any setbacks, delays, and any other pertinent updates. This could include design and color changes.
It's important to understand that this is a crowdfunded campaign. Crowdfunded campaigns are often subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances. Please also understand that money pledged to a crowdfunded campaigns is a donation or investment. This is not an online store and you will not immediately receive your rewards after pledging.
Please note that minor changes may occur in production, and that the images presented here are mock-ups, and intended to showcase my intent for the final product. There is a possibility of slight changes in color and size in the physical item per manufacturer's request.
An important note about color and size.
The designs you see on this page are mock-ups, which means the final product may vary in color, design and size.
Different computers, phones, and other devices have different screen settings which means coloration may vary between screens. I will be using a Pantone Solid Coated book to choose the the final colors of the mimic designs. The manufacturers use those Pantone numbers to know which colors to mix and where to apply them. However, Pantone on paper, looks different than on an enamel pin. Allow for variations.
Each mock-up has a rough estimate of what the size will be. Our sizes are either specifying the general height or width of the pin. The actual size of the physical product may vary.
Glitters, translucent enamel, glow-in-the-dark, pearl enamel, diamond dust gradient, and metal plating colors may vary on the physical product.
